To all University Hills residents:
ICHA is excited to announce that Google Fiber is coming to University Hills! After months of coordination between Google Fiber, UCOP, UCI, & ICHA, the project is ready to begin construction in late April. You can expect additional detailed messages throughout the construction project to alert you of construction near your residence, any restrictions to street parking, and other helpful information.
Google Fiber anticipates the system to be operational later this calendar year, but precise dates can’t yet be guaranteed until the initial construction is further along.
If you are interested in Google Fiber service, sign up for project updates at:
google.com/fiber/mybuilding. Once you are set up to receive communications from Google, you will get an email when your street address is live. The email will include steps to sign up for service.
