Timeline
- 1960 – Land sale agreements from The Irvine Company to The Regents of the University of California envisions employee housing
- October 1983 – Irvine Campus Housing Authority is incorporated as a public benefit non-profit charged with building the “housing program” at UC Irvine
- 1983 – Dr William Parker becomes first ICHA President
- 1984 – The Regents lease the first 20 acres to ICHA
- June 15, 1984 – Groundbreaking Day
- 1985 – The first homes sales are completed, buyers begin to move in, first recreation area is completed
- 1990 – Leon Schwartz becomes second ICHA President
- 1991 – The Garden Park is built by University Hills volunteers
- 1996 – ICHA constructs the Gabrielino apartments
- 1998 – Chuck Hayward becomes third ICHA President
- 2001 – The Tierney University House is completed
- 2007 – The Santiago Apartments are completed
- 2010 – University Hills Community Center grand opening
- 2011 – Jane Laning becomes fourth ICHA President
